Ohio State Career

  • A two-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete, as well as a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten pick

  • Played for Latvia at 2022 World Championships in Towson, Md.

  • Enters junior season with 37 goals, 13 assists and 50 points in 25 games played (including 18 starts)

  • Career-long scoring streak was 13 games, with 33 goals, seven assists and 40 points; ran April 29, 2021 vs. Rutgers through March 31, 2022 at Louisville

2022 World Championships with Latvia

  • Played seven games, with 17 goals and 22 points, along with a team-best 27 draw controls, 16 ground balls and six caused turnovers

  • In Platinum Bracket competition, had a five-goal outing vs. Sweden in the quarterfinals (including the late gamewinner in a 12-11 victory) and scored four goals the following game against Italy in the semifinals

  • Also had a five-point day, with a hat trick and two assists, in pool play vs. Wales

  • Latvia was 1-2 in pool play before posting back-to-back wins in the Platinum Bracket to reach the semifinals

  • Squad fell to China in the 19th place game

2022 (Sophomore Season)

  • Played in all 16 games, starting 15

  • Led Buckeyes with 35 goals and was second with 43 points, tying for third with eight assists; picked up nine ground balls

  • Started year with at least one goal in each of the first 12 games and scored in 14 of 16 games overall

  • Six-goal game vs. Mount St. Mary’s March 12 (tying for sixth-most in a single game in school history) and scored five goals against Duquesne March 10

  • Five-point outing, with a hat trick and two assists, vs. Marquette Feb. 20

  • Notched three other hat tricks – Feb. 12 vs. Robert Morris, March 15 vs. Marist and March 19 vs. Northwestern; added an assist vs. the Wildcats for a four-point day

  • Two goals, two assists and two caused turnovers vs. Cincinnati Feb. 16

  • Earned Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete accoaldes

2021 (Freshman Season)

  • Played in nine games, starting three; missed time with injury

  • Seven points, with two goals and five assists, along with two ground balls and eight draw controls

  • Assist vs. Michigan Feb. 21 for first collegiate point; had four draw controls and a ground ball in the win

  • Two-point game vs. Maryland March 18 with a goal and an assist

  • Posted two assists against Northwestern April 8

  • Scored vs. Rutgers in Big Ten Tournament April 29

  • Assist vs. Rutgers Feb. 26

  • Ohio State Scholar-Athlete honoree

Prior to Ohio State

  • Two-time team captain

  • Named to Under Armour Upstate Team in 2017 and ‘18

  • Four-time all-section selection

  • Played for Ithaca Lil Red for 12 years and Salt City Snipers Elite Lacrosse for four years

  • Received international language excellence award in 2019

  • Also played basketball and soccer and was a two-time team captain

  • Secretary of Captain’s Council and took part in Link Crew

Personal

  • Daughter of Leigh Ulrich and Brian Lasda, who played lacrosse at Cornell and won two national championships with the Big Red

  • Brother Eli played lacrosse at UAlbany and brother Riley played lacrosse at Penn State and UAlbany

  • International studies major and hopes to work abroad in structural development in a Spanish-speaking country

  • Enjoys hiking, swimming in Ithaca’s gorges and biking

  • With a father who played lacrosse in college and two older brothers in the sport at a young age, was surrounded by the sport and started playing at age 4

  • Dual citizen of Latvia and the United States
